Here at Joshua Smith Inc (JSI) we’re starting to plan for the season of giving.  While holiday shopping can feel like a daunting task, we like to think of it as a perfect opportunity to help those we love live more beautifully.  The soft texture of a blanket wrapped around your skin, the uplifting scent of a candle, it’s little things like this that makes us stop and connect with the present moment.  Especially during the cold, dark winter months ahead, we can all use a little extra something to engage our senses and nourish our souls.  We also like to think of gift giving as a way to practice being more intentional with our purchases.  Questions like, how is this made, what is this made of, and buying from brands that give back to important causes makes holiday shopping more meaningful.  So, we’ve selected some of our favorite gift items with all of these things in mind to help make holiday shopping a little more inspiring for you this year.

‍Here are JSI we’re kind of partial when it comes to candles so we couldn’t choose just one!  The ‘Spirtuelle’ candle by MAD et LEN is one of our all-time favorites with its cleansing mint scent.  Everything is handmade, even the stunning iron container, and the company manifesto is absolutely worth a read.
